Темна матерія у Всесвіті: сучасний стан і проблеми (за матеріалами наукової доповіді на засіданні Президії НАН України 23 вересня 2015 року)

Зазначено, що сукупність даних астрофізичних спостережень вказує на наявність у Всесвіті особливої субстанції, що проявляє себе лише своєю гравітацією. Ця невидима і прозора субстанція дістала назву темної матерії. Сучасна теорія еволюції Всесвіту узгоджується з даними спостережень лише за умови, що темна матерія складається з частинок досі невідомої природи. Дослідження властивостей і з'ясування природи темної матерії є одним із найактуальніших завдань фундаментальної фізики, астрофізики і космології.
