A generalized interstripation of functions of two variables

Available inpainting methods for recovering of damaged images are overviewed. The interstripation operators for image recovery are given for the case where information is only known on a system of strips that are parallel to the coordinate axes, have curvilinear boundaries, are arranged at arbitrary angles, and take into account noise in known strips. An experiment was conducted to compare the methods with well-known analogs. © 2018, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
