Method of choosing synchro preamble of mutually non-orthogonal digital signals in electronic communication systems with random multiple access

Based on the statistical decision theory, the authors have proposed the approach to selecting the synchro preambles for mutually non-orthogonal digital signals during packet transmission in wireless communication systems with random multiple access. To solve the problem of detecting the state in a shared channel resource, they have used sets of quasi-orthogonal Kasami, Gold, and Kamaletdinov sequences and their combinations. Factorization of the problems of detecting the state in a radio channel and separation–demodulation of signals by methods of the multi-user detection theory allows for avoiding the exponential growth in the complexity of algorithms for processing conflicting signals. © 2023, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
