Determining steady-state characteristics of certain queueing systems with Erlangian distributions This article proposes a method to study M / Es / 1 / m, ErEs /1 / m, and Er / M / n / m queuing systems including the case when m = ∞. Recurrence relations are obtained to compute the stationary distribution of the number of customers in a system and its steady-state characteristics. The developed algorithms are tested on examples using simulation models constructed with the help of the GPSS World tools. © 2017, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
